best way to get to Kuching is by air. Both Malaysia Airlines and Air Asia fly
in from Kuala Lumpur, Penang, Johor Bahru and Kota Kinabalu. Flying in from KL
International Airport (KLIA) takes about 1 hour 45 minutes. From Kuching International
Airport (KIA), there are regular flights connecting Kuching to other major town
in Sarawak. On arrival at the Kuching International Airport, visitors may take
a taxi or rent a car, which normally takes about 15- 20 minutes to the city centre. |
