Settlement.Kuala
Gandah Elephant conservation was established in 1989 by the Department of Wildlife
and National Parks. The center is a base for the Elephant Relocation Team, which
began the elephant translocation programme in 1974. The only one of its kind in
Malaysia, the team is dedicated to locating, subduing and then translocating problem
elephants from areas where their habitats are constantly being encroached by plantations
and to other suitable habitats throughout the Peninsular such as Taman Negara.
Over the past 25 yrs the centre has helped prevent the further declined of the
elephant population by relocating more than 300 wild elephants. Tour includes
elephant ride, elephant feeding and for those who are brave, we suggest you bring
a change of clothes and towel if you wish to participate in water activities such
as swimming and bathing the elephants in the river. -

Full payment has to be made upon reservation or confirmation of the tour.

Cancellation
If you wish to cancel the booking once it has been
confirmed, a cancellation charge will be be imposed accordingly :

More than 3 days prior to the tour commence date : 50% of the total amount charged.
- Less than 72 hours prior to the tour commence date : Strictly No Refund.
Child fare
Children between 3-11years old will be charged as
per stipulated tour price.
Pick-up service
Complimentary
pickup service will be provided from major hotels in Kuala Lumpur and please wait
at the lobby based on the pick up time given .
Hotels outside Kuala Lumpur
will be charged a transportion fees based on the location.
